Furniture lock, Häfele Dialock EFL 30, battery-operated lock

  • Cabinet installation

The transponder card must be held at the cabinet side panel to open the EFL 30

  • Installation of hinged door

In order to unlock the EFL 30, the transponder card must be held against the hinged door

  • Drawer installation

The transponder card must be held at the cabinet side panel to open the EFL 30

  • Minimum vertical distance: 100 mm

In order to avoid interference between locks, a minimum distance of 100 mm (vertical) must be maintained when installed. If the distance is less than the minimum, continuous communication will take place between the locks, which will drain the battery. In order to avoid unnecessary battery draining, do not insert the batteries until start-up takes place. With applications which require less distance, the FT 200 with EFL 3 can be used as an alternative.

  • Minimum horizontal distance: 150 mm

In order to avoid interference between locks, a minimum distance of 150 mm (horizontal) must be maintained when installed. If the distance is less than the minimum, continuous communication will take place between the locks, which will drain the battery. In order to avoid unnecessary battery draining, do not insert the batteries until start-up takes place. With applications which require less distance, the FT 200 with EFL 3 can be used as an alternative.

Functionality

Standard mode
User keys are given a fixed assignment to one or several (optional) locks for locking and unlocking.
The lock remains open for 3 seconds after opening, and locks again automatically.
The door status (locked/unlocked) can be identified with feedback contact and additional macro with which an alarm can be triggered.
The open time can be adjusted to 1–30 seconds in the basic operation mode using the programming transponder.

Free choice of locker
Every user key can lock an open locker. When doing this, the user key is assigned to the selected locker, meaning that only this user key can unlock the locker again. When the locker is unlocked again, the assignment is deleted. The cabinet number is not stored on the user key.

Toggle mode (deadbolt lock function)
The lock is unlocked and remains unlocked when presenting an authorised transponder. The lock is locked again when the user key is presented again.

For door thickness

19 mm

Note

The EFL 30 / EFL 30c can be configured and operated in the stand-alone mode via the Dialock Manager app or as locking point in the Dialock Software using the programming card and clearing key card.
Notes on operation:
Minimum distance EFL 30 to EFL 30: 100 mm (vertical), 150 mm (horizontal).
When using the Dialock software, please contact your responsible Häfele employee.

Note

In order to avoid interference between locks, a minimum distance of 100 or 150 mm must be maintained when installed. If the distance is less than the minimum, continuous communication will take place between the locks, which will drain the battery. In order to avoid unnecessary battery draining, do not insert the batteries until start-up takes place.
For applications where a smaller distance is required, the FT 200 with EFL 3 can be used as an alternative.

Note

Particularly suitable for furniture constructions with soft closing and self closing mechanisms. Not suitable for drawers and hinged doors with Push-to-Open function.
If the batteries are very weak, the EFL 30 can no longer be locked after opening. For this purpose, regular use is required. If the batteries are completely discharged, the EFL 30 can no longer be opened. Emergency opening can only take place if the CC 30 connection cable is connected and accessible so that the EFL 30 can be supplied with energy via the PS 30 wall plug power supply.
